FYI- if anyone is interested- Mark Allen will be in town promoting his new book- Fit Soul Fit Body on Thursday, February 5th at the Boulder Book Store. Over the last year or so, I've kinda gotten to know Mark a bit better and have just gained so much respect for him, not just for his athletic achievements, but his way of thinking... Timmy and I are taking notes... here's a few key ideas:
- Test your wellness without considering your vital signs or weight
- Successfully manage the 6 worst kinds of stress
- Overcome the top 3 emotional barriers
- Beat boredom and find motivation in repetition
- “Slow down to get faster” (in everything you do)
- Choose the right eating and exercise plan for you
- Employ the power of nature to find balance
- Quiet your mind in just minutes without spending hours learning meditation or attending a yoga class
- Set realistic goals and secure a fit vision for life

that really is a great book! I bought it right when it came out and after reading have shared the knowledge with my relatives and the feedback has been very positive all around!
Thanks Jaakko for all of your positive support! If you have a facebook account, it would be great if you could post a short review and share your thoughts!

The Boulder Bookstore had its biggest book signing ever with over 200 people at the Fit Soul Fit Body lecture. They also sold out of the book and it is now the #1 bestseller (non-fiction) in the Boulder Bookstore.
