Through my relationship as an athlete with Descente over the years, I think I have a good grasp of their brand- where they've come over the years. I've really seen that company evolve and grow even through some tough times. Their products seem to get better and better. Kristen Brandentich is a good friend who does almost all of their product design. Luckily I was in the right place in the right time to do their new Fall 09 Catalog. I think it turned out pretty well. They hired a phenom local photographer- Tim De Frisco. Total B.A. that does awesome work- had a blast working with him on this- I've used a lot of his work in more of my comps for Ads and such as he's got a style I love.
You'll notice I had to call in some "real" talent for the running section. Friends Dennis Meeker and Heather North as well as Jenni got in on the fun. I just included some of my favorite spreads and pages, not in any particular order.Descente is a company that really pushes their fabric technologies. They were one of the first to start using Carbon in their gear. For 09, they are using a fabric called MegaHeat that actually warms up when it gets wet by 4 degrees.
